It wasn't too hard to set the scene for the party. One swift phone call and a few random text messages and things were starting to pick up. By word of mouth and by word of text everyone would know about the party. He had headed over to HR early so he could pay in advance for the use of the building. Carson wasn't going to fuck up the only party in history to include both camden and harding students. Hopefully no one would be killed, but hey, Carson made no promises. There was a bar tender present, naturally, as well as music that would be provided by Peter. Carson had Peter come over early as well just to make sure that everything went right with the sound check. As soon as Peter had walked in, Eleanor in hand, Carson threw the notebook that Peter had wanted at him. "Read over all that shit later, Pete. Get your ass up there and sound check before I change my mind."
Sure Carson wasn't the best to his brother, but Peter didn't seem to be pressing any unnecessary buttons. While Pete settled in on the stage Carson attended to better things. He didn't have time to mess with the music. God everyone was lucky Carson had his connections. Slipping a cigarette from the box resting in his back pocket, Carson glanced around the empty club. He licked his lips as he lit up and smirked at his handy work. This would be a party to be reckoned with. Carson had been on the party scene enough to know that he could produce the party of ages. The lights would be out and things would be guaranteed to get wild. He wouldn't settle for anything less. It wouldn't be long before people would start showing up. The first few, of course, were a couple of Carson's connections who had helped him set up the party "favors".
Carson stepped outside the building, watching as person after person entered, talking about how awesome this should be. Taking a drag from his cigarette, Carson smirked; shaking his head as he blew smoke out. More and more people began to show up. Success was great and would probably be celebrated by drunkenness. All that was left was for his main person to show up. Carson didn't know why he had lightened up toward Kholden. Maybe it was the fact that he just felt like he didn't have to be an asshole 24/7 around Kholden. Plus, Kholden didn't spend so much time trying to "correct" him like most other people did. It would be worth throwing a party, at least to Carson. Kholden had even helped out a little, not that Carson really needed him to. It was nice to have a friend-type-thing. The only thing Carson was worried about was another Blaine situation. HAH! Blaine Cronn... the only boy NOT allowed in. Carson could be spiteful at times.
Once again Carson brought his cigarette to his lips. Yeah, this party was bound to be a stroke of genius. It would help him on more than one level as well. Ashton would be coming and it wasn't like Carson had just off a whim allowed Peter into his good graces to do the music. This was Carson's chance to win one bet and perhaps purposefully lose another against Kholden. There was no way this party couldn't work out well for Carson Walker.

Kholden was pumped, he was kind of glad Ashton had said something about nothing going on. He had been planning on going out later, but as it would seem he would have been disappointed. Though now there would be no disappointment because now there was something going on. Kholden had planned to help out with the party and he did get to do a little bit, but Carson pretty much had everything done that needed to be done. Kholden was impressed. It wasnt that he was expecting carson to not be able to do it on his own, it was just. he was so efficient about it, and the guy had connections thats for sure.
Kholden felt pretty useless but he doubted carson cared, he was very much the kind of person that was in control of stuff. Kholden knew tonight was going to be fun as hell and he wondered what all would go down. Mostly because it wasnt just an exclusive party, it was a party open for everyone from both schools. That hasnt happened in ages if anything especially with the wrap that was going on about and between the schools. He was totally expecting some fights.. maybe.. that would be entertainment, but maybe not and he definitely hoped for some hook ups. Particularly where he was involved. He was completely down with that.
It was near time for him to head down. He wasnt sure if he should show up early or not, normally he didnt think about it just went down and usually it wasnt till the party was in full swing, but this party was different. Besides he had first dibs on carson that way. Kholden snorted aloud as he pulled out his favorite blue shirt and pulled it on. First dibs? really thats not what he meant, but he wanted to chill with him and he figured if he got there right away he would at least not have to wait till some hoochie mama removed her paws from him. He wasnt sure why he didnt like that thought, the thought of some girl vying for Carsons attention. He shook off the distaste that was in his mouth from that thought and pulled on his favorite jeans. They looked best on him.
Brushing his teeth and running his fingers over his hair he checked himself in the mirror. He had just shaved the yesterday so he was still good. He moved over to his door where he had a full length mirror, what he didnt think it was girly at all. It takes a real man to have certain girly things. He checked himself over and nodded. He did look pretty good if he did say so himself.
Popping a mentos in his mouth just for extra minty freshness he headed out towards the HR club. Once he got there he saw there were already a lot of people there. He rolled his eyes, people and going to parties on time.. seriously what was that. Did no one know how to really party, then again its people like them that get the parting going for the cool kids like him to show up later. He snorted again at his thoughts, he needed to stop thinking for a second.
He made his way through the throng of people to the bar. First things first.. he need a drink. He ordered a beer grinning widely at the bartender. Kholden fully planned on some major partying to night so when he got his beer he practically chugged it down. Beer was not easy to chug, but he was no virgin at it. Once it was gone he ordered two more. Taking a swig from one he turned his eyes traveling over the crowd till he spotted carson. Making his way over he gave him that lazy grin of his, slinging his arm around his shoulder and holding out the beer for him "and the party starts' he said "I have a feeling tonight is going to be awsome.' he nodded dropping his arm from carsons shoulder and putting his hand in his pocket taking another swing from his beer.

Ben really didnt know what he was doing at the Hard Rock Club. Wait yes he did. SO he had heard about the party and really he wasnt a party guy, hed actually never been to one other then his neighbors Tupperware party and his mothers bible study parties. He normally wouldnt have stepped inside of this club, but he had heard that Carson was throwing the party and knew that this would be a different kind of party other then what normally went on inside the club. At least he liked to hope so. He was failing miserably with trying to understand his roomate... or even get any kind of friendship with him.
Ben just didnt understand why carson pushed people away so much. He just wanted to be his friend, to help him, to understand him just a little bit, see why he was the way he was. He just wanted to help. Maybe he wasnt cut out for this kind of thing, maybe he should change his dream. No! he was going to succeed. He was going to help carson becuase carson needed someone. He needed to get all that anger out. Ben physically hurt thinking about all that anger he sees simmering inside carson and he just wishes he could get him to let it out to help heal himself.
Knowing CArson ben had a feeling there would be alcohol and smoking here. He didnt have to do any of those and thats why he was okay to come. Besides he needed to meet more people and why not it be a party that was open to everyone that wanted to come. He hoped carson was okay that he was there. H e knew it was open, but still maybe it was an unwritten thing that Ben wasnt invited. He knew carson didnt care for him at all, but it would change. He wanted it to. He did want to be friends with carson, he just knows somewhere in side that they could really get along if carson let them.
He bit his lip looking around as he came into the club. THere were so many people and it already smelt like smoke. He coughed and covered his face. It was awful. He hoped he didnt get cancer or something from second hand smoke. It did say that it was worst then first hand, but at least he wasnt smokeing too that was even worst, first plus second..
He looked around for someone he would recognize at least.

This was Peter's opportunity to finally get noticed. Usually Peter didn't play in public for his own reasons, but he had been so thrilled that Carson even asked him that he just couldn't say no. Carson had already given him some song to play, but Peter came equipped with his own list of songs to play. Lately Peter had been spending a lot of time either locked away in his dorm or at home, allowing his father's fist to do the creative work there. But it felt nice to go out. What had Peter feeling unbalanced was the fact that someone was publicly ignoring him. Peter just couldn't figure out what he had done wrong. Unless Ashton was just trying to pretend he didn't exist after their little meeting in his dorm? Could that be it? Peter didn't want to think about that. He obviously shouldn't have made out with Ashton to begin with. He kind of felt like a whore. Of course, nothing he did involved sex... just a lot of really deep kissing.
But Peter had reacted in a bad way earlier, getting fed up and offering to shower with Kholden. Peter had gone as far as going to Kholden's dorm, making out for a little bit, then changing his mind. For some reason he just couldn't bring himself to do anything other than that with Kholden. Plus, Peter knew how close Carson was to Kholden. The last thing he needed was for Carson to think of it as another Alex fiasco. Peter had apologized to Kholden, gone back to his dorm, and thought about what was really wrong with him. He didn't know why he had reacted that way to Ashton's ignoring him. It wasn't like he knew Ashton all that well... just that one meeting and that had really been it. But Peter still felt disappointed. It wasn't like he wanted a relationship out of Ashton... he just thought he might have a new friend or something. Even that seemed impossible. Peter had been so sure that Ashton was able to tolerate him at least. Well, it wouldn't be the first time that Peter had gotten the wrong idea about someone.
Peter was comfortable on stage. He had been consulting with the back-up band. HR was awesome in the fact that they could get talented musicians on the spot. The bassist of the back-up band really seemed to be able to connect with Pete. With a smile, Pete showed the group of guys his set list. "These songs are perfect." Peter said with a nod. He then looked at the rest of the band, who nodded in agreement. "Nice picks, kid." The bassist said, slinging his arm around Peter's neck and bringing him closer. Peter laughed, "Well, there's only a couple of songs I won't need you guys on. Other than those two, well damn, we're gonna rock I bet." He said happily. Peter picked up Eleanor and licked his lips as the band took their spots. What helped was that there really wasn't anyone specifically watching him. Everyone else was busy doing their party thing. Peter started off with one of his favorites: Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off. That song was really built for Peter's voice. He loved singing it because of that. As he sang, played guitar, and the band behind him played, Peter's eyes surveyed the party goers.
For Carson to not be liked by very many people, there was a lot of people there. Of course that probably was due mostly to Carson's vast amount of connections that Peter never asked questions about. Peter felt like Carson's party would do some good at least, bringing the two sparring schools together. Peter sang into the microphone, his eyes closing so that he didn't have to see anyone looking at him or not looking at him. All he had to focus on was that he was there, he was singing, and it would be just like he was there by himself with Eleanor. When the song ended Peter looked back to the band for support. He was still pretty amateur when it came to stage performances. They motioned to him to move on to the next song: Decided To Break It by Marianas Trench.

Party!! Yeah Ashton was glad that Carson had decided to throw one. He had needed to go do something today, his body was too restless to sit around at home and do shit. Though he had to admit he was kind of irritated... okay kind of was putting it lightly, but carson was irritating him. SURPRISE! yeah who did carson not irritate? really it seemed the guy just liked to get on everyones nerves. The fact of the matter was, Carson seemed to think it was a great idea to bet that he couldnt talk to PEter for a week and him being the genius that he was took him up on the offer.
Well really how could he fail. He barely knew pete. How can you have trouble not talking to someone you barely knew and had only seen a few times. He really only saw Pete on the chat room so why should it bother him that he wouldnt be able to talk to him. Well apparently it was a lot harder then Ashton had thought. For one pete really did know how to guilt trip you. Damn him! Ashton this and ashton that. Oh ashton why wont you talk to me, what have i done. I dont understand. yeah thats just... not even cool
Whats not even cooler is normally that wouldnt have bothered him and even worse that he had gotten jealous when Kholden... the fucking man slut, had to flirt like hell with Peter. Really he hopes him and Peter had fun in the shower, whatever. Peter could be a fucking slut too if he wanted to. Maybe when he talked to him next hed tell him to make sure he was tested after having even touched Kholden. The guy probably had a million diseases, then again, the guy might be all talk. Kid was probably a virgin. God ashton would laugh at that. Thats what you get for being mr. Bigmouth!
No he was not jealous. That thought was just ludicrous. Ashton would admit that other then the chat room there had been one time hed see him in purpose and there had barely been talking. Theyd made out, hard core. Pete was a great kisser and sure there were things that he had felt that he couldnt explain, but... that wasnt anything. Ashton entered the HR Club. Peter had just started the song he was playing and After Ashton got himself something to drink and a place to relax he let himself actually listen to what was going on up on the stage.
Yeah hed be lying if he said that Peters voice didnt turn him on... incredibly. Especially this song. He frowned, taking a drink. God that boy could sing, and his voice... if he thought the sound of him moaning or talking in general was hot, then this was just.... god. This was nearly unbearable. Really he normally didnt get turned on this easily over someone just singing, but really. Ashton was surprsied to find himself having to situate himself during the song. He took another drink. He needed to get his bearings on. He was not going to lose this.

"Somebody call 911, shawty's fire burnin' on the dance floor ..." ___________ Of course she hadn't expected Carson to mention he was having a party. In fact, when she'd heard a few people murmuring about it while walking through the hall to her next class one morning, a smug grin had slipped onto her face. He had declared mental warfare on her. And she figure that since it was open invitation, she may as well show up!
She wasn't quite sure what to wear, but she figured something stunning that would create a statement. So she decided on a classic, cocktail-length black dress with a dipping v-cut neck line and her red Converse. Creating a statement? Yes. CJ pulled her hair back into a loose bun, some of her curls escaping at the sides, and her bangs swept across her face.
As CJ walked along the sidewalk, the sun long gone, the moon high in the sky, she kept getting that feeling -- the bad one. Where you feel slightly nauseous, and your nerves are on red-alert, like something bad is going to happen? Well, she hurried as fast as she could, sticking close to the small groups of people that still lingered. Though most were young couples, CJ would apologize in her crisp British accent and give a small, half-smile.
She figured she'd gotten lost until alas, she spotted the club just across the road. CJ had spent about an hour or so as she prepared trying to figure out what her plan would be. She knew it would have to be something to play with his head ... and girls were pretty good at spreading rumours -- but CJ wasn't one of those girls. In the end, she decided to lay low until she spotted Carson, then try to catch his eye. This meant that she wasn't going to instigate the fight, but rather himself. But she didn't know how unpredictable Carson would be, so she hoped everything would work out.
Now, once Carson had spotted her, she would try to get him to create a scene. Once he did, she fake something like ... of, I dunno -- he hurt her, maybe? She was still going through that stage of planning. But the point was that Carson would create a scene, and make a fool of himself while CJ would end up saving her own butt and looking innocent.
CJ wasn't even on the other side of the street when a person pulled the door to the club open. He looked like he was hesitating a bit. CJ hurried in straight after him. She coughed, waving a hand in front of her face at the cigarette smoke, her eyes beginning to water. She knew a headache was soon to come. Just as she'd entered, the bass pounding through the floor, she could hear the band already beginning to play Decided to Break It by one of her favourite bands, Marianas Trench. She always got a bit of a laugh out of the video.
As CJ emerged from the dim hallway of the entrance, she bumped into the guy who'd just entered before her. "Sorry," She said, flashing a smile and looking back. Her eye caught the singer on the stage ... CARSON?! She pretended like she wasn't surprised at all to see the singer on stage, and looked back at the guy with a composed expression. "Hm ... I feel as though I know you from somewhere..." She trailed off, offering him her hand. She didn't know how safe it would be to give a stranger her name, but luckily 'CJ' wasn't actually her real name. "CJ, pleasure to meet you." She nodded, smiling and stepped out to the side of the dancefloor. Her eyes scoured the whole place, looking for someone she maybe knew. Maybe a classmate? Oh, it was too hard. Everyone had changed from their normal selves to their night selves -- CJ included.
She walked along to the bar -- where she wasn't legally allowed to drink -- and asked for a water. The bass pulsed through the club like a heartbeat, pounding in her ears. It would be next to impossible to try to have a civilized conversation, so she crossed her legs and sipped at her drink, going over her "evil-ish plans" in her head.
Thought/ Notes: My arm is cramping up ... Word Count: 736 Outfit: Hawtness. XD, jk. Listening to: Decided to Break it by Marianas Trench (coincidence? I think not!)

She could hear the music, long before actually coming before the front door. But that was on the inside, and she was currently on the outside, having a minor debate. On one hand she thought that this was stupid and an idea that is bound to fail... on the other, she was curious. It was pretty known that Willow's curiosity had a tendency of getting her into trouble. A lot of trouble. Though, she somehow figured that it can't hurt. A couple of drinks here and there, loud music, and lots of people... Shouldn't be too bad. With a passig thought of 'I'm probably am going to regret this....' Willlow slipped inside.
Almost imidiately she was met with even a louder blast of music and cheering. Reconcidering her decision once more, Willow glanced at the door behid her, before heading toward the bar with a small sigh. Probably, sitting or standing by the bar, ordering a drink or two, can't hurt. Leaening against the counter, Willow's eyes scanned the crowd. Not many familiar faces, but a few that she has seen here or there. The clear blue of her eyes paused for a moment on the stage as she saw Peter up there. Slly smile forming on her face. Maybe he'll play today, or better yet sing. He was pretty dang good at it, which in churn puzzled Saiga as to why he has not been giving concerts at their univeersity... then again, everyone has their own reasons.
With a bright smile Saiga churned around calling over the barteender, and orderinig a cold beer. She was still discovering the wide variety of drinks out there, but for the time being she stuck to what she knew. While waiting for the drink, she looked back out at the club. The music seemed ok, and for once she actually managed to fit in. Comon sense has somehow prevented her from looking like a woman from Feudal China. Even though it crossed her mind...
The bartender brought over the bottle, calling out to her a few times before she heard him. With an appologetic smile she took the beer before churninig quickly around and taking a sip. The cool, refreshing liquid poured down her throat, and spread through out her body. Her mind wondered to the music. It wasn't her typical choice, but she had to admiit, the choice of music was picked with some skil and knowlege. As she listened into the lyrics, she couldn't help but start to dance along to the music. This might churn out to be a fun night.

Carson hadn't expected that anyone would directly approach him at first, but then again, Kholden was a lot different that most people. When Carson felt the arm wrap around his shoulders he knew that Kholden was right there with him. It was a strangely satisfying feeling. Carson chose not to dwell on it for too long. He just couldn't let thoughts like that get in the way at the moment. Car needed to focus on the fact that this was his party and he could actually be proud that he did something worth mentioning. Taking the beer that Kholden held out to him, Carson fought the urge to lean into Kholden and rest his head on the boy's shoulder. But Kholden removed his arm and the feeling disappeared altogether. With the warmth not there Carson didn't have to worry about what he was feeling. He took a sip of the beer and shook his head. "Yeah," Carson said thoughtfully. "Sure to be a riot." He wasn't sure, but he thought the party had potential. But the greatness of it would really depend on the people.
Still watching as people entered, Carson spotted Ben walking in. His fingers gripped the bottle tightly, dark eyes narrowing. Carson was thoroughly upset with Ben. After Peter had mentioned that Ben had said something along the lines of Peter going to Hell because of his being involved with guys. It bothered Carson that someone was bothering Peter about his sexuality. He really didn't like the idea of anyone other than him bothering his brother, though that was a thought that Peter would never tell anyone. Carson glanced to Kholden, then to Ben, then back to Kholden... then to Peter, who was already on stage singing. Licking his lips, Carson needed to think of a game plan. He really didn't need to do anything drastic at the party. Carson finally sighed, looking back to his beer. "Great," Carson said to Kholden. "Bible Ben is here." one thing that would be apparent was that Carson wasn't happy about that. He was sure Ben thought he was doing the right thing, but it came off to Carson as holier than thou and Carson didn't appreciate it. Soon he would be getting back at Ben, but he would have to see how Ben reacted to the party scene.
Carson took another sip of his beer, turning his gaze to Kholden. "I swear if he fucks up this party with his preaching ways..." Carson wouldn't even have to finish the thought. He was sure Kholden could finish it for him. He drew in a deep breath, finishing off his cigarette and putting it out in the tray next to him. Carson turned toward Kholden, taking another sip of his beer. The liquid kind of burned going down his throat, but that was a sensation that Carson was already used to. He didn't even have to pause to think about it. "Distract me." Carson said in a bit of a demanding tone, raising his hand and placing it on Kholden's chest, before clasping his bony fingers around the fabric of Kholden's shirt. "Don't let me think, okay?" It was important that Kholden kept him calm or else he would be making a scene and that just wouldn't be a good thing. Carson didn't care how Kholden went about it. Looking over Kholden's shoulder, Carson saw another person that he didn't want to see. Bitchface. He knew then that it had been a mistake to make it open invitation.
Pushing out thoughts about bitchface, Carson tightened his grip on Kholden's shirt. Distraction would be nice. Carson finally let go, turning away from Kholden and chugging down the rest of the beer. Maybe if he just got wasted... then it wouldn't be as bad. Yeah- that was it- that was the answer to everything. All he would need to do is get drunk and stay around someone that he could stand. Carson would survive this party no matter what it took.

I W A N N A B E A N A S T R O N A U T & G E T H I G HBREAK THE BARRIER OF SOUND INTO THE SKY - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Ringed fingers pulled at the black and white polka dotted dress. It was a strapless little number, short enough to show off Saydee's legs, which would be even more accented when she had put her heels on. Most people who meet Saydee on an average day are extremely surprised to see her when she dresses up. Of course, the only way Saydee would ever be caught dressing up was if she was going out on the town to party. Like any girl, she loved to feel sexy. She also loved to see the look of shock on people's faces. On an average day, she usually wore grungy clothes, still stylish but definitely tomboy-ish. Dressing up was her really girly outlet, other then shamelessly flirting with hot men of course. Tonight, she had gone all out. She loved the outfit that she had picked out. After all, this was her first official party at college, she wanted to make a good impression.
After getting all dolled up, Saydee made sure that she had everything for that night. She hated taking purses out with her at night. They always ended up getting in the way and if you wanted to dance, you had to have real faith in where you were to set your purse down. Nope, Saydee went with jackets. They were much more practical for holding everything that she would need and they also kept her warm if the party moved outside somewhere. The brunette started strategically started placing things in different pockets. Her phone would go in the front pocket. The drugs were going in a pocket a little more hidden. If you are going to ride dirty, at least be smart about it. Good thing that she didn't have a roommate yet because at that moment she was carefully wrapping a couple mushrooms and three pills that were in the shape of skulls and cross bones. She wasn't planning on taking them as soon as she got to the party though. You don't want to be too fucked up when you are just meeting people for the first time. No, these were just backup. In case the party didn't meet her expectations. This was her first weekend at college, she wasn't going to place all of her eggs in one basket.
She did have high hopes for this party though. Kholden had invited her the other night and he seemed like he knew what good fun was. He also said that there was going to quite a lot of people so that was good. There was nothing worse than throwing a party and having like ten people show up. Saydee pulled her jacket on, pulling her loosely curled hair out from under it. She slipped on her black heels, knowing that at some point in the night she would probably take them off and run around barefoot but whatever, it was the look that counted. It only took her a few minutes to leave her dorm room and walk the couple blocks to the club where it was at. Whoever was throwing this party must be loaded. To rent out a whole club. She could hear the music booming from outside and smiled. At least there was good music. She entered the dark club to see quite a lot of people, just like Kholden had said. This might shape up to be a good night. First stop: the bar. Saydee wondered as she weaved through the people whether she would have to use her fake i.d. or not. As soon as she got to the bar, her question was answered. People were getting drinks left and right without any pause. Saydee ordered a whiskey sour and turned around. This would have to be her chill out spot for a little bit. At least until she either found Kholden or met someone else. She leaned her elbows against the bar and calmy sipped on her glass, surveying the dance floor.

"mm.. ya.' he said with a smirk. "Well... he looked around again. His eyes went up to Peter up on stage. "Good call having your bro do the music.' he nodded. sounds great. he took another drink. His head bopping a bit to Petes song. Then he heard Carson say something about Bible ben. He snapped his head around his brow raising up and his eyes landed on ben. He frowned.
Whats he doing here? Didnt think this was his scene/ he said. Kholden was still a little miffed at what had gone down with Ben and Peter, not to mention the way hed upset carson one night. Then again he was always on carsons case. Kholden had never been around so many people that really knew how to get on each others nerves and kholden he just... he wanted to be laxed, enjoy himself, but he was not one to stand by and let his friends get dissed. He couldnt understand why people couldnt just worry about themselves and stop involving themselves in everyone elses lives. Its hard as it is just to get by with yourself let alone trying to bug about other people. Its just ridiculous.
Kholdens lips thinned into a line and his brows came together a bit as he shook his head. "Hey man, dont worry bout it. Ill keep an eye out. The first sign of him fucking anything up and Ill kick his ass out. he assured him. He didnt want anything ruining carsons party either. People should really be more stoked then wanting to start shit. Carson was helping them put some kind of excitement into at least one night of their dreary robotic lives. Okay maybe that was a little dramatic, but really from what people said in the box they were always so bored and he was no better. This party was a perfect solution and if anyone was going to treat it as anything other then a good time one to relax have fun and let loose a bit, then he was going to seriously have to kick some ass.
Again Kholdens attention was brought to Carson when he felt his hand on his chest and then his fingers taking a hold of his shirt. He blinked licking his lips and nodding. Distract him? the way his hand was gripping his shirt, he could really only think of one way that hed like to distract him but he wasnt so sure that was appropriate. As he was debating about it Carson turned away from him chugging his beer.
Kholden licked his lips a bit and then raised his brow. He stepped up behind carson his hand going to his hip giving it a nice squeeze/pinch, enough for carson to notice it wasnt just anything. He leaned in to say lightly into his ear. Any way? he his voice deep and the smirk on his lips playing through it.

Ben wasnt sure where to start, but as he looked around, he was almost getting overwhelmed by the amount of people and there were still more coming. It wasnt long before he was getting bumped into by someone and he turned to see a girl. He offered her a smile and a shake of his head. Hey its okay. This place is pretty... fulll so really i think itd be a miracle to avoid not running into at least one person.' his smile widened a bit more. She looked slightly familiar, but he wasnt sure. Maybe she was from his school. He kind of hoped he could stick in conversation with her, he was here to meet people after all.
He wasnt so sure at first though since her attention was diverted to the stage. He looked up as well, he hadnt thought that they actually had someone live, but there was someone up there and he blinked a moment. Was that carson? he pondered it a moment. It just... seemed out of his character, not that he knew his character, but maybe... just.. he didnt really think that if carson was hiding that talent that hed want to let it out in front of so many people at his own party. He shook his head then remembered peter was really into music. It had to be peter... Though if it werent he would really be impressed not that he needs to be, but... its carson and carson just hasnt showed that kind of stuff to people.
hmm?' he lblinked back to the girl once he realized she was talking to him. "oh.. yeah.. you do too... maybe.. i mean i go to camden... do you?' he asked as she introduced herself. The name... He could have sworn hed heard that.. or seen it. Im Benjamin" he told her shaking her hand back with a friendlish smile. Pleasure to meet you CJ
Then she was moving away, heading towards the bar and he frowned not sure if he should follow or what. He moved to follow but then got cut off by a group of people cutting in front of him and he sighed, waiting, looking down at his feet as he felt the eyes of the kids on him. He turned and tried to find someone else, everyone seemed to migrate to the bar so he started back that way again. He stopped next to another girl who hed never really met before either, she seemed like she could be friendly and he stopped near her. Hey...' he said to her. You um.. you ... friends with carson?' he asked just wondering if she was here for carson or just because it was a party.

Being up on stage had its perks, Peter couldn't lie about that. His dark eyes scanned over the people that were coming in as he sang. When the song ended Peter glanced over the crowd once more. He didn't know what to think. Peter was seeing the faces of people that he had only seen smaller display pictures of before. But there were a couple that he had met face to face. For instance: Peter knew Saiga and he definitely tossed a smile in her directions, then there was Kholden and Carson, who Peter could tell were having what seemed to be a more intimate moment than peter cared to linger on. His eyes carried on and finally landed on the one person that Peter hoped would come; Ashton. Peter was kind of upset with Ashton, but he was beginning to rationalize just how stupid that whole thing had been. There was no way he had been in his right mind when he made out with Ashton. He wondered... that if maybe he told Ashton that... that maybe that night he hadn't been thinking straight... would that even work? Ashton would probably ignore him again.
Peter licked his lips and looked back at the band for support. He wouldn't announce song titles. It wasn't about the song titles, but the music being played. Peter purposefully chose the next song to be a short one just because he wanted to get over there and find out what the hell was up with Ashton. Karma Police was a short song that was also fantastic... more of a slower song, but Peter didn't care about that. He wasn't the one out there that would have to dance to it. Peter put his guitar down and turned toward the band. "Take a break guys, you can have next pick." The band stepped down and Peter moved the stage piano toward the front, angling it slightly. Peter moved his microphone to where it was next to him, coming in from the side. He started the slow, melancholy piano part before his voice rang out through the speakers of the club:
"Karma police, arrest this man, he talks in maths He buzzes like a fridge, hes like a detuned radio Karma police, arrest this girl, her hitler hairdo, is making me feel ill And we have crashed her party This is what you get, this is what you get This is what you get, when you mess with us
Karma police, I've given all I can, its not enough I've given all I can, but were still on the payroll This is what you get, this is what you get This is what you get, when you mess with us And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself And for a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself
For a minute there, I lost myself, I lost myself"
During the song Peter's fingers easily spread the length of the keyboard. He loved the piano, though he didn't play it as much as he did his guitar. Peter had managed to work up quite the sweat while he was playing the piano. When the song finished Peter stood, not bothering to bow or anything. People weren't interested in the music, they were interested in the party. The band got back up there and played Peter's absence. Carson told him that he could take some breaks and this would be one of them. He would take as long as he needed to sort this out. Stepping down from the stage, Peter pushed his way through the crowd. A couple of girls seemed to just want to touch him. What told him that they didn't really think much of him was that they called him Carson. Peter just shook them off and made a B-line toward Ashton.
Peter tapped Ashton's shoulder, tilting his head. "Hey," He started quietly. On his way over Peter had come up with a whole situation. He would get to Ashton, make his presence known and ask the guy what the hell his freaking problem was... but that wasn't what happened. Instead, Peter frowned, "I- I shouldn't have made out with you the other night. I mean... you're right... I barely know you. I just- I wouldn't normally do that with someone I do know." Peter bit his lip, wiping some of the sweat from his face, though some of it still dripped from his hair. "But, um, yeah... this is kind of awkward. You won't have to worry about it anymore though." Peter shrugged, "Maybe I'll see you around, but after the last week... I don't think you want that." Peter nodded and turned, getting ready to walk away.

Ashton was already on his fourth drink by the time the second song was over. Ashton had almost forgotten he was at a party with people filling the place around him. His attention had been completely on Peter. The only time it wasnt, and even then hed kept one eye or his ears stuck on him, was when he was getting his drinks. Ashton didnt know why. Maybe it was his thing for musicians, or maybe it was the fact that hed never seen someone get into it so much look like he owned... no.. was one with the goddamn instrument. His voice was perfect and yeah.. okay he was fucking hot so that helped as well. But really...
It was no surprise as Peter moved on to another song. In fact it was one of Ashtons favorites. Of course he was going to have his eyes and ears glued to him now. AS he watched him he mentally shook his head. If he thought pete was passionate about his guitar playing hed never seen him on the piano. There was something about the piano maybe it was because you rarely saw people play it ... or that well for that matter and the fact that... he could see the sweat starting on his skin. Ashton bit his lip and groaned on a sigh. Fucking... ridiculous.
Ashton thought he was doomed, but then the song was over. IT was a short one and maybe it was a stupid thing to think, but he kind of preferred Petes version over the original. it had nothing to do with pete and the obvious attraction he had for him. He didnt just make out with anyone, he had some standards, but because Petes voice and the way he sang it just... fit so well. Ashtons trance was finally broken, when some kid pushed harshly into him. Ashton fixed him with a deadly glare and the kid flipped him off telling him to fuck off as he went back into the crowd. Ashton rolled his eyes, but was actually glad it had happened.
It would be best if he not let himself pay attention to peter. He didnt want to fuck up and lose a bet and he knew carson was just around the corner waiting for him to fuck up. Licking his lips he downed the last of his drink and ordered another. It was when his back was turned that Pete came up to him, if he had seen him he liked to think he would have left. Really he didnt know pete other then the fact the kid was an amazing kisser and again that Ashton really wouldnt mind fucking him several times. But as far as that went, he didnt know pete these weird thoughts about pete were pissing him off.
Ashton felt the tap and he turned in mid drink nearly chocking on it, but recovering gracefully as he raised his brow at him. He then brought his gaze around to make it look like he wasnt even looking at pete, which he was out of the corner of his eyes thought. He listened as the words spilled form his lips, his brows furrowing a bit and his lips going to a thin line and turning down into a frown as Pete went on.
So pete was regretting it. That was not cool. Regret means he sucked and he liked to think he didnt suck. If it were the other way around even if Pete had been an ass to him he wouldnt have regretted making out with him. It was a good make out... a fucking grade 'A' make out, so really regret ... he was not down with. He heard the last words from his mouth and finally he brought his eyes to Pete as he was turning away. Something flickered in Ashtons eyes, he could see the sweat on him still in some spots and he was reminded of what hed been witnessing to day.
Ashton made an impatiently frustrated noise that could have been classified as a partial growl under his breath as his body reacted before he could even think to stop it. He reached out grabbing petes arm pulling him back around to face him, flush against himself his other hand coming up to grip the front of his shirt as his hips landed on Petes. He couldnt remember clearly the rules of it, but he couldnt talk to pete. Did kissing count? he didnt know but right now he didnt care. There had been a part of him that handnt liked what Pete had said and was reacting.

"Somebody call 911, shawty's fire burnin' on the dance floor ..." ___________ CJ wasn't much of a dancer -- that had been her sister's role. But she planned at some point in the night to have a bit of fun, even if she ended up dancing alone. She smiled over at Ben. "Yeah, this place is pretty packed!" CJ exclaimed, shaking Ben's hand back. She'd heard somewhere that when you squeezed a person's hand tightly when shaking their hand meant something along the lines of 'respect me'. But then again, CJ often mis-heard a lot of things. She, however, wasn't the type to try and kill someone's hand mid-shake.
"So ... Ben ... you like parties?" Her brow furrowed a bit before looking back at Ben, giving a small smile. He didn't look willing to follow, but just as CJ was about to start towards the bar, she caught sight of someone. Wait ... Kholden and Carson? CJ did a double-take, her eyes darting from the stage -- where Peter was just going onto break -- back to Carson and Kholden. Carson was busy watching Ben, and chatting to Kholden with an annoyed expression on his face. It was sure to become worse once he saw CJ standing there with Ben. When Carson's eyes flicked CJ's way, CJ gave a convincing, bubbly smile, and gave a little wave. Of course it was an insanely bitchy thing to do, but hey, mental warefare changed people. Or it just showed their bad side more than their good.
Whatever the case, CJ shrugged and headed to the bar, giving Ben a little wave, hoping that he'd decide to follow her. She'd like to talk with someone maybe. CJ crossed her legs, smoothing her black dress over her knees neatly before resting her elbows on the bar counter. CJ brought an arm up to smooth the small pieces of hair that had fallen from her bun off of her neck. Parties always drained the energy right out of her -- she didn't know why. "Bartender, could I get a ... pop? Any kind!" CJ said, not looking back at him, but letting her eyes scope the dance floor for people she knew. The problem that CJ didn't exactly communicate with a lot of people didn't help, but she wasn't awkward or anything. She could actually start a conversation if need be.
She saw Ben heading towards the bar, and leaned out from her place a bit to wave him over. She wasn't sure if he saw her, because he began conversation with another brunette at the bar. CJ sighed, looking to her left where she saw a pretty blonde poised on a stool. CJ swivelled around, gazing intently at the girl. "Hey, you're Saiga, right?" She smiled, recognizing the girl by her eyes. CJ had seen the girl's picture when chatting in the cbox -- and annoying everyone to boot.
"It's me, CJ!" She grinned, taking a drought of her pop before letting her attention drift again. She glanced back at Carson, seeing Kholden place an arm around Carson's waist. Wait, was Carson ... gay? CJ raised an eyebrow in suspicion. It didn't look like her plan was going to go through after all; Carson wasn't looking too willing at the moment to come over and 'chat' with CJ.
Thought/ Notes: I'm hungry ... Word Count: 576 Outfit: Hawtness. XD, jk. Listening to: Nothin'

Post by Willow "Saiga" Eshire on Jun 17, 2009 11:45:55 GMT -5
Willow noticed the smiled, and responded with a little wave, though doubtfull if he saw that. Eh, it didn't matter too much, especially since she didn't exactly plan on getting noticed by someone. This was one of the situations, where Siaga would have preffered to stay away on the sidelines, as a simple observer. Not necesserely perverted or anything, just amuzed at the people's behaivior. Especiallly by late morning, when most of them will be too drunk to remember their name... Not that, was a comedy on it's own.
She remembered being at one party with her friend, when she was still in High School. Her friend was from Ukraine. They were in a restraunt place, or something, but, there were drinks everywhere. During some point of time, Willow even attempted to count them, but failed misserably since the waiters kept bringing out more. What the cause of the celebration was, she couldn't remember any more, but she did remember that it was huge. Everyone gathered at around 8 o'clock, which in her opinion was already slightly late, but what ever. It started out fine, food, drinks, conversations. Later it became more dancing, drinks and food. Even more later, just drinks. The strange part of it was that the drinks never stoped. There were more bottles on the table then there were people.... By around 3 am, all the adults were compleately waisted. Their behaiviour, converstations (From what her friend translated), and gestures were all combined into a giant comical show. Too bad she didn't have a camera, it would have made a perfect comedy for Hollywood! "Ukrainian Celebration, or One drink too many." True, it was a lame title, but then again, she barely gave it a thought.
The song that Peter was playing sounded nice. True, she had never before heard it, but reguardless of that fact she found it interesting. Besides, Peter had a nice voice, he should have sang more often in front of peoeple...Her thoughts how ever were interupted by a voice close by. A woman.... Saiga's blue eyes drifted to the source of the voice, and locked on the chick. She seemed to know pretty well whom Willow was, despite the fact that Willow had absolutely no clue who the girl was.
"Yes..." Willow answered slowly looking over the girl, realization hitting her when the other introduced herself as CJ. "You're Cara? Oh.... Hi!"Her momentary bewilderment passed as she smiled widely, waving with her free hand. So, this was the person who kept getting into all the fights in the chat. Hey, after all, Willow wasn't the only person who didn't get along with Carson... "How are you?" Willow asked with a smile leaning back against the counter before taking anotehr sip from the bottle.
