OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Benjamin is so virgin he makes white look dirty. He has never swore, never drank, done drugs, kissed someone other thenh is mom on the cheek, nothing. He never really had any friends mostly because he was home schooled. Sure he has friends at his church but they even they think hes a little weird h doenst really understand that.
Ben likes to read and draw. Everything hes ever read or seen has been g rated. He wasnt allowed to read or see anything more then that. In fact he has never been to the movies before. He doesnt watch tv and everything in his room has been checked before it even came in the house to make sure it was appropriate To him this wasnt weird. Its just how his life has always been so he knows no different.
Ben gets along great with his parents. He gets along with adults very easily. Around them hes more mature for his age, but because hes always around adults he has a hard time associating with people his age and tends to be very naive about things. Sex has never been a concept to him. Sure hes had dreams and sometimes wakes up sticky and uncomfortable, but thats where hes managed to keep it. Theres never anything around him to spur on anything like that.
He did have one friend back at his old place in north carolina. Her name was celia, her parents and his parents were good friends and he and her used to hang around a lot. It has always been understood that they would grow up and get married. Of course after they graduated. Bens a nice guy, the only people hes thought ill of were people that were in jail for crimes like rape and death and animal abusers.
He has a huge fear of sinning without realizing it, or sinning in general and going to hell. He wonders if he wont get a chance to ask god for forgiveness before he dies. He also doesnt like crazy. He never wants to be come crazy or get dementia when he gets older. The human mind is so frightening and complex. Ben has his bible next to his bed and reads some of it every night. Hes not the type that pushes god on people, in fact he like to observe other people around him. He does have bad judgement though mostly from being so sheltered.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Ben didnt have a terrible life at alll, at least for him. His parents love him and he loves them. Ben has always been home schooled. His parents are very active in church, in fact his father is a minister. In between teaching him english and stuff he does bible study and what not.
Growing up his parents pretty much already mapped out his life. Hes going to graduate, get married to his childhood and family friend celia. They approved of what he wanted to do, kind of like jo did in little women. Hes always seemed happy because he never knew what he was missing out on.
Ben did want to do one thing though. Celia was already going to her choice college and he wanted to go to his own as well instead of whatever his parents had in mind. They agreed and thought maybe it would be good for him but they would choose where he applies for. They instead found Camdon. They liked that it was more strict then other places which meant that the kids wouldnt be out of hand. Lucky he was accepted.
When she talked to the dean it seemed like it was the best choice for her son. She made him promise to call every day and to read his bible every night. He was so happy hed actually be with people, but agreed. It was no chip off his shoulder, he had planned on it anyway. Its his first time away from his home so he knew if he didtn call hed probably get homesick and that would not be cool.
Ben doesnt know what to expect, but he was told that everyone at the school was well behaved and he would fit right in. He hoped so. They did warn that they had strict codes and didnt tolerate rule breaking. He assured them he would be on his best behavior.
