OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Carson Simon, in so many words, is an asshole. Please, ask if he gives a damn about anything. It should be pretty obvious that Car doesn't take shit from anyone. He has a short fuse and is not afraid to light a fire under anyone’s ass that decides to get in his face. Don’t mess with Car when he’s in a bad mood. It won’t be pretty. No matter who Car is talking to, whether it be another student, civilian, or the president of fucking America, he’s always going to by his same old asshole self. Carson is the best there is when it comes to making people angry. Why? Because he doesn’t care about other people’s feelings and he sure doesn’t hesitate to tell it straight. The point is that Car is not going to change for anyone or anything. Being an ass is too much fun.
Carson has a bad habit of getting a little too drunk and doing some pretty ridiculous things. Who doesn't? He likes to have a good time. Sure that might come with the cost of waking up with a huge headache in the morning, but that's something he can deal with. If there's a party, expect Carson to be there. He’s the kind of guy you can expect to liven up a party. People expect him to act out, so why shouldn't he? Screw staying at home and doing nothing. Car always have to be doing something. Carson doesn’t drink because he likes alcohol. Actually, he comes close to hating alcohol and everything it makes him do, but really…honestly… he hopes it kills him one day.
Carson is pretty much your average goofball as far as everyday life. He’ll do anything that anyone will pay him to do and he’s not afraid to get in trouble for it. There already been a bunch of shit that Car has done just because people have accused him of being a chicken. It goes from light to extreme. Once Carson was bet that he couldn’t jump into a pool from the second story balcony of a hotel. Proved that bastard wrong. Carson had a broken arm for a while, but it was worth the thousand dollars he made off it. Car is a bit of a party daredevil. He’s not afraid of anything that comes his way. The only thing Carson is afraid of is love. Feelings can be a bitch sometimes, can they not? One minute Carson thinks he’s in love and the next he’s wishing he could… well, never mind, that may be a bit too graphic.
And that brings the soft side. It doesn't happen often so don't expect it. But hey- Carson can be a real sweetheart when the time is right. Mostly his FEW friends get to see the soft side of him. So no- Carson is not always an insensitive asshole. But most of the time he is. Car is pretty sure that no one remembers the nice side of him anyway. It could be that Car just doesn’t want to show it. Hell, Car doesn’t even remember being nice as a kid. Carson is not likely to break down and show sympathy for many people. Think of him as a heartless bastard and move on. That’s the best thing to do.

OVERALL HISTORY:
[BIRTH]
Mary Bailor was a young waitress at a cafe in down town Chicago. There man named Cain Walker who frequented the little cafe. It only took a few months for Cain to woo Mary into a date. One date became two, two became three, three became engagement, engagement became marriage, and marriage became sex. Eventually, to their dismay, sex became twins named Peter and Carson. Neither of them had wanted a child, but they had been so ignorant as to not use a condom so the cards fell in that area anyway. Carson had been named partly after another baby and was given his father's first name as a middle name. In fact, their birth was celebrated by reruns of MASH and vodka... by Mary and Cain. Carson and his brother Peter were both pretty much ignored, left to be taken care of by nurses who cared to look after them.
[NEGLECT & A DRUNKEN FATHER]
Money became scarce for the Walkers. Any money his father did come across was used to buy alcohol, which would always lead to Peter and Carson being hit around a little while until they would cry. Then Cain would stand little Peter up by his shirt collar and say, "Stop that cryin, boy. A man takes the hits as they come." Carson would never be told anything. His father would just go straight to hitting. It didn't take long for Peter and Carson to learn that they just didn't need to cry. Carson's mother Mary was always out. When she did come in she would always forget to get them anything to eat. This forced Carson and Peter to have to walk over to the neighbors as children. The neighbors began to worry about their situation at home, but they did nothing about it. Later on, much to Cain and the kids' surprise, things started getting better. He had overheard his mother telling his father that she had moved up in the world and found a job that would allow her to stay home and take care of the little pests so the neighbors would get off their backs. Cain didn't argue.
For a while everything seemed to go okay. Carson was finally starting to think that they could become and actual family again. It was Peter and Carson's eleventh birthday, but they had been sure that their parents didn't know that. Peter and Car were the only ones that really kept track of their birthdays. But this night was significant and it became one that will always be remembered. Cain, in a moment of fatherly affection, was going to show them how to light a cigarette. Carson was just glad to be getting some attention from his father that wasn't abusive. When Cain opened the door to his and Mary's bedroom Carson saw Peter step back. Wondering what had been so appalling... Carson looked. Immediately Carson turned his eyes away. There was his mother, naked, underneath a strange, mustached man, who also happened to also be naked. Their mother simply rolled her eyes as the man climbed off, grabbed his clothes, and rushed out of the house. Her only words were, "Great, there runs a thousand dollars you bastard."
[BEAT DOWN]
Carson wasn't sure about asking about their mother. She didn't come out of the room much and Peter and Carson had conferenced, deciding they should ask about it. When Peter would ask their father about it he would get a rather delightful (sarcasm), "Shut the hell up, boy." So Peter quit asking questions and Carson still wasn't so satisfied. They decided to do some detective work of their own. The operation was not successful. Mary never once opened the door while Carson was outside it and Cain would always yell at him if he even dared to try and open the door. One saturday afternoon Peter had been sitting on the couch, watching his father watch tv and Carson was playing with a deck of cards at the foot od the couch. Their mother burst out of the room and stormed into the living room, followed by their father. Mary announced that she was leaving. Her exact words were, "I was okay with you roughing the kids up, but you crossed the line hitting me. I'm outta here." Mary walked out and Cain's gaze was focused on Peter and Carson. Both of them tried to run, but only Carson got away.
[DAD'S NEW JOB]
Imagine how surprised Peter and Carson were when they found out that their father had become a police officer. Peter would watch his father go out and protect and serve Chicago, but come home and still be just as terrible as ever. Carson began to think of his father as a hypocrite and he wasn't quiet about it. By this time Carson noticed the outright fear Peter had for their father. He was afraid, but he didn't want to be controlled about it. Carson never went out of his way to do thing for their father while Peter would work his ass off. Car didn't think their father deserved it. Cain once looked up to Peter and said, "Get out of here. Leave your old man alone to die." Of course, Peter wouldn't do that, but Cain had never said anything like that to Carson. Not once had his father broken down and showed even an ounce of compassion. Carson was more willing than anything to get out of there and let their father fail. He began to think that his brother was too much of a softy, and that just wasn't right.
[THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW]
Carson didn't try and be a good kid in school. He was suspended numerous times and he would always fight back verbally whenever his father would be in a mood to beat him for it. Peter once begged him to stop doing the things he was, but Carson didn't want to give in. He continued to act up in school, acting like a complete bastard and essentially turning into a younger version of their father. Peter and Carson began to argue a lot more and eventualyl grew apart. But when Carson dared to threaten his father with telling child services about their situation, Carson was given a beating that would be hard to come back from. Carson actually ended up being hospitalized, having to pay for the visit out of his own pocket. The running excuse was that Carson had been in a car accident. That was just how bad he had been beaten. He looked pretty rough, but it didn't take too long for Carson to make a complete recovery.
[THAT BOY'S A RIOT]
Carson was surprised in high school to learn that his brother was into other guys. He knew the boy his brother was obssessed with. Alex was just like him... a cynical asshole with nothing better to do than take advantage of people. After numerous times of warning Peter than nothing good could come out of it he decided to give up. Obviously his stupid brother wasn't willing to believe him. When Car found out that Peter planned on kissing Alex in front of their dad, well, Carson tried to beg him not to. That would be a horrible idea for the both of them and Carson knew it. Carson didn't want to do anything drastic... but to save the both of them from their father... it looked like he would have to.
[OUT OF THE CLOSET]
When Cain arrived home from work he said nothing to Peter or the boy. He simply sat on the couch and watched television. Peter causally led the boy into the living room, clearing his throat to get attention from his father. "Alex, I'm bi." he said rather bluntly, with a smile. Alex seemed to get the point and kissed Peter. This caused an eruption from his father. Cain ordered Alex to get out and once again Peter had gotten himself into a big mess. "No son of mine will ever be a homo." His father had said, "I told your mother that she would put the final nail in your gay coffin." Peter tried to explain that he didn't think those thoughts until after his mother had left, but it fell on deaf ears. It appeared that Cain would not associate himself with any male, including his son, that could be attracted to another male. Peter was given the beating of a life time, and this time Carson was pulled into it without having done anything at all. Carson knew that would be what would happen. Stupid Peter had caused him another beating and it wasn't sitting well with Carson. He decided he needed to do something to get Peter to come to his senses once and for all to get them out of the stupid house.
[CHEATER CHEATER PUMPKIN EATER]
Things had started to get pretty tense between Carson and Peter. Carson blamed Peter for the surge of violence in their father and, of course, decided to take advantage of Peter's boy friend in order to get what he wanted out of peter. The whole plan had been pretty genius. Carson had gone to Alex's house and put on moves he didn't know he had. At one point Carson managed to get a hold on Alex's phone to send a text message to Peter. When the door opened, Carson made sure Alex was in the worst position he could think of. He knew he had really hurt his brother with that one, but it was for his own good. After hearing that Peter got his GED... Carson followed. He even enrolled at the opposing school.
